Longing for some warm-weather fun, even in the middle of the winter? Create a tropical feeling with a colorful Crayola® Color Explosion™ lei!
1.
Think Hawaiian sunshine! Cut Crayola Color Explosion paper into several pairs of flower shapes.
2.
Add some floral flair! Decorate your flowers with Color Explosion color-reveal markers and Crayola Glitter Glue. Air-dry your sparkly flowers.
3.
With Crayola School Glue, glue each pair of flowers together, back-to-back. Air-dry the glue.
4.
Punch a hole in the center of each flower. Cut ribbon or yarn about 24 inches (61 cm) long. Cut colorful drinking straws into 2-inch (5 cm) pieces.
5.
You are ready to assemble your lei! Alternate stringing flowers and straw pieces on the ribbon. Use a bit of clear adhesive tape to hold the ends of the lei together. Put on your lei and do the hula! Aloha!
